Filmmakers of London Ltd.  Freelancer agreement.

    2. The Rate

    Unless agreed otherwise in writing at the time of booking the following rates will be paid for Freelance videography/photography services. 
    Subsequent hours and overtime shall be paid at the equivalent hourly Half Day/Full Day rate, rounded up to the next 15 minute period. If Half Day events overrun and run for more than 6 hours in length this event will paid at the Full Day Rate.

    3. The Agreement

    1. Filmmakers of London Ltd. hereby engages The Freelancer to cover weddings and other live events as an independent contractor in the capacities listed above in Section 1. 

    2. Filmmakers of London agrees that payment will be transferred to the Freelancers designated bank account within 48 hours of receipt of all footage/images and a dated invoice. Questions or amendments relating to the rate, payment arrangements, and all expectations regarding the event must occur in writing/e-mail.

    ​3.     Filmmakers of London will cover all reasonable travel expenses and postage costs, excluding fines and penalties. Mileage will be reimbursed at a rate of £0.40 per mile from the address listed above in Section 1. Please discuss and agree in writing your travel plans with Filmmakers of London if you are travelling from a different address to that listed above or will require the use of Taxi's or will be required to pay for parking at an event. Filmmakers of London will arrange food to be provided on all Full Day events.  ​

    4. The Freelancer agrees to be at the designated start location for each event in time to be fully set up and prepared to start filming at the designated 'Start filming time'. Times will be agreed in writing before every event.

    5. The freelancer agrees to notify both Filmmakers of London and the Client by text or phone call if they are running late. 

    6. The Freelancer agrees to attend to any booked date once committed to work. The Freelancer agrees to find a suitable replacement if they cannot work. In extenuating circumstances that the Freelancer cannot fulfil their commitments or find adequate cover they will provide maximum notification to Filmmakers of London.

    7. All rights to images/videos/audio taken at any event booked by Filmmakers of London are the sole property of Filmmakers of London.   Photos/videos cannot to be used in any manner by the Freelancer without written authorisation of Filmmakers of London.  

    8. The Freelancer agrees to not hand out personal business cards or agree to take contracted work from clients in relation to photography or videography services. All enquiries directed to the Freelancer must be passed on to Filmmakers of London.  

    9. The Freelancer agrees to provide their own memory cards for each event unless agreed otherwise in writing before hand. The Freelancer agrees to back up all footage before posting and agrees to keep this footage until receipt has been confirmed by Filmmakers of London. 

    ​10. The Freelancer agrees to be prepared to work beyond the agreed coverage period if an event overruns. If an event is likely to overrun beyond 1 hour they should notify Filmmakers of London by text to seek further instructions.  Any overtime will be remunerated by Filmmakers of London accordingly at the above agreed rate.

    11. All queries regarding cash and payment from Clients should be directed to Filmmakers of London and at no time should the Freelancer accept any cash or payment from the Client.

    ​12. The Freelancer agrees that their telephone number and email address can be shared with Clients, for emergency use the week prior to an event. 
     Violation of any of these terms is grounds for immediate termination and cancellation of future bookings with Filmmakers of London.
