We had the absolute pleasure to cover Nick and Erics simply fabulous wedding in February 2020. They booked our full package with two wedding photographers and two wedding videographers and their highlights video can also been seen below. We started the morning covering their preparations at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, and even managed to get a few shots on the famous staircase where the Spice Girls filmed the video for Wannabe. We then followed them in a horse and carriage as they made their way to Grosvenor Square, where they wanted to have some of their couples portraits before the ceremony, so to maximise the time spent with their guests later in the day. Being both from Rhode Island, USA they particularly wanted to visit the 9/11 Memorial and have some pictures taken there. After leaving Grosvenor square, we took I the sights of Marble Arch, Wellington Arch, and Buckingham Palace before arriving at the destination for their Wedding ceremony, none other than the Houses of Parliament, The Palace of Westminster. Their ceremony was beautifully personal conducted by their close friend Kevin, and featured a 16 piece orchestra. Weddings at the Houses of Parliament allow you to see parts of the wonderful old buildings that you simply do not get to see as guests on the tour, and as London wedding photographers when you are their photographing a wedding you get to see even more of the backstage areas. We were allowed out on tieback terrace with stunning views over the Thames and London Eye. Once our photos were done we then made our way to one of our favourite London Wedding venues, the Royal Horseguards Hotel for their reception, filled with songs, more orchestral performances and topped off with a brilliant live band and disco.

Stationers Hall Wedding PhotographyGetting married on Fleet Street, after having just stayed and gotten ready at the Grange Hotel St Pauls, and then having your reception at Stationers Hall London doesn't get more iconic and more "London". Then just to top it all off with a sunset shoot on the steps of St. Pauls cathedral that really ticked all the boxes. Joshie and Michael's wedding was simply perfect from start to finish and we had so much fun covering their big day. Adding in the extra flair from the Mauritian dancers for the reception ensured it really had it all. As London videographers, we see all sorts of parties and this one was something special.
The views from Joshie's room getting ready were something really special. We loved the opportunity to set up a little shot of her shoes whilst she was having her wedding day make up with St. Paul's Cathedral in the background. The Guild Church of St. Martin within Ludgate is also a stunning (if a little dark) venue within Fleet Street to get married in. The private courtyard that it shares with Stationers Hall is also just perfect to move to starlight after the ceremony. There can't be many churches in London that are closer to a reception venue, so much so that they all feel like its all one venue. We say it all the time but as London wedding photographersPhotography we love seeing all these amazing venues and Stationer Hall is right up there with some of the most impressive. We particularly loved the balcony that allowed us to get the whole group shot inside the main Hall. We loved photographing this wedding and making their wedding video. |
